The popularity of beige and dominance of beige in the spring runway took many onlookers and observers by surprise. The change in style and description has seen that beige is now considered a spectrum of luxe shades, rather than a cluster of washed-out hue.

Riccardo Tisci, was at the forefront at Burberry, presenting models in beige. Others have since jumped in the beige bandwagon, at Chloé, Natacha Ramsay-Levi also gave a presentation of a Sandy vision of Bohemia, Max Mara touched on its classic camel coat, and Loewe gave pristine suiting. All of these different takes did justice to beige. The styles were eccentric and they were worn from head-to-toe as it should be. Beige now stands for elegance and no longer mediocrity. Although wearing it would mean your dry-cleaning bill will double up, but it is worth it.
